چکیده
A transient fully coupled model is proposed to investigate the two-phase flow of CO2 and water-based fluid in a wellbore, considering complex mass heat transfer different patterns dynamic coupling between wellbore reservoir. Based on conservation, momentum, energy balance, employs state-of-the-art equation state transport models analyze variations multiphase behaviors properties wellbore. Applied scenario drilled gas kick, used simulate processes migration The results indicate that solubility increases gradually with increment depth, trend which shows an abrupt change 500-1000 m due phase transition CO2. During kick development, fronts free dissolved increase almost linearly time. Through comparison CH4 kicks, dissolution found significantly suppress development process kick. error prediction can reach 42% if effect neglected. However, it be neglected for

Flow Analysis Heat and Mass Transfer in a Room
This reports the study on the flow behaviour, heat transfer and contamination distribution in a room. For this purpose the 3-D incompressible Navier-Stokes equations, energy equation and a mass transfer equation which model the concentration of contamination have been applied. For turbulence simulation the two equation standard k- turbulence model was employed. By means of SIMPLE algorithm the...

Fouling is a common, fundamental and costly problem in heat transfer systems, which reduces thermal efficiency of equipment, increases the energy loss and causes strong damage to the heat transfer equipment in various industries. The main causes of fouling on the heat transfer surfaces are salts with inverse temperature-solubility in the fluid which calcium sulfate is one of the most important ...
متن کاملNumerical investigation of transient heat and mass transfer in a parallel-flow liquid-desiccant absorber
Liquid desiccant systems have received significant attention as a way to reduce latent loads. Tests of liquid desiccant systems in humid climates have shown significant reductions in energy consumption. As moisture in the air is absorbed at the dehumidifier, the temperature of the liquid desiccant increases due to the addition of heat from the enthalpy of condensation of the water vapor. Thus, ...
متن کاملNUMERICAL MODELING OF CHARRING MATERIAL ABLATION WITH CONSIDERING CHEMICAL REACTION, MASS TRANSFER AND SURFACE HEAT TRANSFER EFFECTS
Presently there is a little information that relates to heat shield systems. Also this information is not certain in so many cases. The main reason is that accurate calculations for measuring the sacrificing rate of various materials have not been obtained yet. Additionally, the real scale test has two disadvantages: high cost and low flexibility, and for each case we must perform a new test...
متن کاملNumerical Modelling of Flow and Coupled Mass and Heat Transfer in an Adsorption Process
In this paper, a detailed 3D modelling of flow and coupled heat and mass transport in a channel coated with adsorbing material is presented. A comparative study between a simplified 1D model and the detailed 3D model is carried out. Both 3D and 1D predictions are compared with experimental data available from literature as well. The time-dependent variation of temperature and heat flux distribu...
